Welcome to World Class Retirement

The Neighborhood is a Life Plan Community designed to offer more than one level of care on a single campus near Albuquerque. Active, independent living for those who want a sense of community and connection with neighbors in a maintenance-free retirement lifestyle, and Supportive Care – for those who need assistance with activities of daily living in a nursing home environment, with Assisted Living, Alzheimer’s support and more.

Life Plan Is The Answer

Listen to residents as they explain how a life plan retirement community can be an ideal option for seniors looking for a comfortable and secure living environment. Life plan communities are designed to provide a continuum of care, meaning that residents can transition from independent living to assisted living or nursing care if needed. This provides seniors with peace of mind, knowing that their changing healthcare needs can be met without having to leave their familiar community.

With a variety of living options, services, and amenities available, The Neighborhood can be the answer for seniors looking for a comfortable, secure, and fulfilling retirement living experience.

Senior Living with Daily Activities

There is one Art Gallery at The Neighborhood. Occasionally, they proudly feature the artwork created by senior residents.

Several residents have four legged family members and The Neighborhood made sure to include a Dog Park when it was built. There are plenty of sunny New Mexico days for canine frolicking at the dog park.

Each October, one of New Mexico’s most popular events takes to the skies – Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta. The parent organization, Haverland Carter LifeStyle Group, is a proud sponsor and residents enjoy breakfast and balloons at their own corporate tent, located right next to the field.

Holidays and meals are shared with the new friends you make, creating new memories and new holiday traditions. In a retirement community where new friendships are made every day, sharing different holiday occasions together means so much to many of The Neighborhood’s senior residents.
